This afternoon, July 25th, I saw a Marbled Godwit in the SW corner
of the Long Pond Unit. I saw no phalarope. Two Black-necked Stilts
were also in that area per usual. There is also good looking
shorebird habitat in the NW corner of the Long Pond Unit with a dozen
Lesser Yellowlegs present plus a couple Pectoral Sandpipers.
A Sedge Wren was singing near the Sigler Road parking lot at Pointe
Mouillee.
Cheers,
Karl Overman
