This afternoon I found at least 50 Bohemian Waxwings at Huff Park,
Kent County. Huff Park is at the corner of Ball and Aberdeen on the
NE side of Grand Rapids.

The Bohemians were seen with at least 35 Cedar Waxwings, 2 American
Robins, and 30 European Starlings. The birds were feeding on Rhamnus,
Cornus, and Juniperus berries. The birds were observed ranging
throughout the northern 1/2 of the park.

Caution: The boardwalk leading south from the east edge of the
parking lot is under about 6 inches of ice-covered water. The ice is
not thick enough to walk on. I would recommend birding from the paved
trail which leads south from the west edge of the parking lot.

Good luck,
