Mich-listers:

Nancy Hicks reports the Varied Thrush previously seen in her yard and
the neighbor's yard to the east was seen shortly before noon today in
the neighbor's yard. Nancy's house is west of the city of Montague 1/2
mile south of the Lamos Road/Old Channel Trail intersection just before
the road turns westerly. Park in front of the green garage, walk east
along the north wall of the garage and several feet beyond the back of
the garage so you can see to your right (south) the plum tree tucked in
close to the back of the house. The thrush feeds in that tree or on the
ground beneath that tree. It comes in from the woodlot to the east.
The neighbor's house is east of the woodlot and accessible by taking
Lakeshore Road which T's into Lamos a short distance north of Nancy's house.

Curtis Dykstra reports that the Townsend's Solitaire previously reported
on the Kitchel-Lindquist Preserve north of the Grand Haven Channel was
seen around 1:15 this afternoon feeding on berries northwest of the
shelter building near the small dunes. It also flew north into the jack
pine copse and back south to the poplars. Curtis said it was vocalizing
a lot.
