Listers -
The latest version of the 17th Michigan bird list compilation was just sent
to Daryl and he will post it when he is able. Big thanks to him as usual.

Quite a few observers have already sent their lists and updates to me.
Everything I had in hand is in this version. The list will not be closed until
mid-March or thereabouts, so there is still plenty of time to add your material
to the mix.
This is very much a collaborative effort, so please let me know about any
e-mistakes I may have made and I will e-rase them and start e-new.
We have posted a PDF version of the Mecosta County checklist to the site -
thanks to the efforts of Stephen Ross. PDF allow a more polished (organized)
presentation of information and can be printed out easily enough, but they can't
be readily manipulated by most end users.
We have been posting up most of the lists on the site in plain text format.
Almost everyone can copy a list if they wish, paste it into whatever
application they prefer, and manipulate it to their heart's content, so there are
advantages to this "lowest common denominator".
If you have thoughts, preferences, suggestions, input, or strong feelings
about this, please let me know.
Take care - Doug McWhirter
