Subject: Gyrfalcon-Marquette, late report for 12/29

 

Hi folks:

 

Sorry about the late report, but I've been traveling back from the UP to
snowless Ohio, and this is my first chance at reporting. I managed to swing
by the lower harbor in Marquette about 4:30 PM on the 29th, and found the
Gyrfalcon sitting on a picnic table on a dock on the north side of the ore
dock. Also present were several Common Goldeneyes, and an impatient wife who
wanted me back in the car after 5 minutes!
