Townsend's Solitaire

Jane and I went to Kitchell Dunes in Grand Haven this afternoon and got the
Solitaire. It performed beautifully, with a little bit of song and by
displaying openly on a dead branch for a full couple of minutes. It appeared
to be the "drab" winged male version. We saw the eye ring and outer tail
feathers very well. Very happy with this lifer and thanks to Bill Martinez
for discovering this migrant.
