Ruby-crowned Kinglet, White-winged Scoter & Glaucous Gull Wayne County

Today Mike Mencotti and I had a good day in Wayne County .

1. Northern Shrike at Cross Winds Marsh. After chasing this bird at the 
park for several winters I finally got it today on the Bald Eagle trail 
western side.
2. Ruby-crowned Kinglet at Pointe Mouillee Headquaters. The bird was in 
a cluster of Evergreens just to the right of the boat ramp with 3 
Golden-crowned Kinglets The bird was either six weeks early or it over 
wintered.
3.Long-eared Owl still at Lake Erie Metro Park
4.White-winged Scoters on the Detroit River off of Bishop Park in 
Wyandotte.
5.Glaucous Gull and Horned Grebe on the Detroit River at the foot of 
Southfield Rd. in Ecorse.
6.Red-winged Blackbirds were calling at Lake Erie Metro Park.
