Kent Co. Audubon's (type) Warbler & MBRC website update

Birders-
The Kent Co. Audubon's Warbler or Audubon's X Myrtle intergrade is still present at the home of Bob Tarte near Lowell, as of today 20 Feb 08. It seems to visit the feeder behind the house primarily in the noon hour, as it has the past 2 days (per Bob). But it seems to be holding its primary winter territory about 1/4 mi east of the residence, in a forested patch directly south of a yellow street sign indicating an upcoming right turn (for eastbound traffic). I have solicited input from ID-Frontiers on the bird's identity and have received mixed opinions- most feel it would pass as pure Audubon's in the west, with some expressing that the intergrade may be nearly impossible to rule out. As March and April come along and the prealternate molt begins, we'll watch to see if its facial field marks become any clearer. Either way, it's a significant record for the state.
