To All,

 

Over the past few weeks, I've noticed a number of reports that are not
appropriate for mich-listers. I have contacted the "offending" parties
directly.  However, there appears to be an increasing slide toward mediocre
reports that I'd like to stop.

 

Mich-listers is for state year and county rarities only. 

 

I want to keep this list relevant for intermediate and advanced state
listers. Please do not report expected species. For example, I think it's
time to stop reporting Common Redpolls since they are everywhere this
winter.

 

If you are a beginning birder, please do not send reports to mich-listers
unless I screen your reports first.
