Long-eared Owls. Washtenaw, County

Greetings Birders,

While making a delivery of propane to a customer?at 9001?Neal Road (between Bridgewater and Manchester),?off of Austin Road, I?saw 6 Long-eared Owls rise up from a big pine grove and head out pretty much north. They seemed to be on a mission? Heading out for good? Or off to their hunting grounds?? Who knows? Kind of reminded me of sitting on the hawk platform at Whitefish.
