Chipping Sparrow. Jackson, County

Greetings Birders,

I just came inside from taking all the wet seeds out of my platform feeders and the wet shells and uneaten seed from the ground of my feeding station. My, what a mess!!!

While doing so, a very tame Chipping Sparrow flew in, calling and feeding within two feet of me.?A nice surprise. This is the first Chipping Sparrow I've had here this winter (taht I know of).

Also, my Redpoll numbers are up to 15. Hopefully more tomorrow will come in.
