Out birding for the Great Backyard Bird Count, we found two flocks of
BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS. The first was at the entrance to Holland State Park
(about 100 yards before the gate). This flock was about 25 Bohemian, 25
Cedar.
The second flock was on Quincy Street just east of 136th Avenue, on the
north side of the road, in a tree near the Holland BPW substation.
(Latitude/Longitude: N42.84211°, W86.11184° in Street Atlas) This flock
was about 100 Bohemian and 35 Cedar. Spectacular!!
A Great Day for Birding,
Carl & Judi Manning
