This Morning As I drove to the end of snowden Trail 15 Pine Grosebeaks
were feeding on the snow. After watching them from the car I walked the
tree line to the left and saw 4 Bohemian Waxwings. The light was
perfect and I could see all the field marks like I never have before.
I ran into Joanna Pease later int the day and she had approx. the same
numbers but they were for the opposite species.
I had a Norhern Shrike at the corner of Barnes Lake Rd. and Marathon
Rd. The Black Morph Rough-legged Hawk was on Hollenback Rd. alon with
Wild Turkeys..I followed Jason St. Pieres' directions that were posted
on Feb.8
At Seven Ponds I saw Common Redpoll and Purple finch at their feeder.
