About 4 pm today there were about 20 Bohemian waxwings outside my office in Ottawa County. There are a couple trees loaded with fruit next to the parking lot, so they may remain for a couple days. About an hour later, I saw about 60 B. waxwings near the Lakes Mall in Muskegon County. The trees they were feeding on had just a few fruits remaining, so they will probably move along on Tuesday.

Ottawa County FIllmore Street Complex - West Olive Township - from US 31, travel east about 3.5 miles on FIllmore St. to the entrance on the south side of the road (just before 120th Ave.). Follow signs to the administration building. There are two parking lots. One on the right and one on the left (as you are facing the front doors of the building). The fruiting trees are near the left lot.

Muskegon County location, from US 31 travel north from Grand Haven to Pontaluna Rd. Travel east on Pontaluna a short distance to Harvey St. Turn north on Harvey and travel to Mt. Garfield Rd (just before the mall). Turn east on Mt. Garfield and go to the mall entrance near JC Penney. The trees were at this entrance.
