Perhaps it's not surprising.  I've signed on to the Georgia bird list 
serve for the past week because I'm going to Savannah in a couple of 
weeks.  There have been daily postings from around the state about 
groups of sandhill cranes flying north.  I hope they remember to bring 
their scarves and warm socks!
