All,

I came across three Bohemian Waxwings in Northeast Oakland County this
morning outside of Lakeville. Specifically the BOWAs were found in the new Copper
Hills Estates subdivision being built on the West side of Lake George Rd
about a half mile south of Lakeville Rd. Turn west at the sub entrance and left
at the T, this is Heidi Drive. I went all the way to the end and while turning
around (Austin Powers style - there is no loop) the birds flew in pretty low
from the East and kept going out into the scrub. I had a pair of waxwings
earlier on the North side of Drahner Rd in the same general vicinity which were
too distant and quick to ID for sure but seemed to be Cedars. This location
is about 2 miles from where Keith Saylor had 3 Bohemians in mid January with a
flock of Cedars at the MNA's Lakeville Sanctuary off Rochester Rd.

As a bonus fyi - I was just on Northbirding.com and noticed posts about a
Harlequin (with pic) and a Townsend's Solitaire in the Alpena vicinity. There is
also a post about a recent Great Gray Owl that was found and photographed in
 Chippewa County.

Enjoy,

Scott Jennex
