Spotted Towhee - Berrien Co. - 2/05

Sorry - I did it again - corrected directions in this message....

Just a quick update for any interested... I observed the previously reported Spotted Towhee near Buchanan in Berrien County three times between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. this morning - Feb. 5.

Directions again are:

Exit US-31 at Exit 5 – the Niles Buchanan Road exit – and travel west into Buchanan. 
Shortly after you pass the McDonald’s and Pizza Hut, watch for Liberty Road on the left - by the Fifth Third Bank. 
Turn left onto Liberty and then make a left on Rynearson. 
Rynearson continues southeast and then angles to the south. 
After driving about .75 mile on Rynearson, watch for Huron Drive on the right. 
Follow Huron almost to its end and you will see a small neighborhood park on the right. 
The towhee has been seen most frequently in the brush on the right side of the park. There are currently bird seed "bait piles" on the edge of the brush and it has been coming to this seed.
