Listers,

This afternoon I stopped at DeBuck's Sod Farm hoping for a Buff-breasted Sandpiper and didn't find one (as usual).

However, I did find one Golden Plover just north and west of the sales office. The only area that I saw being stripped of sod can be scoped from the road. Buff-breasted have been seen at DeBuck's several times over the past few years, so I plan on checking again soon.

DeBuck's is located just south of Davison at 12163 E Lippincott Rd and their hours are 8 - 5, Mon - Fri and 8 - 12 Saturdays(ph 810 653 2201). To reach DeBucks, take the M-15 exit off I-69 and go south to the first light (Lippincott Rd). Turn Left (east) and drive about 2 - 3 miles.

If you want to drive back into the sod farm, please ask at the sales office during business hours before driving back. The Golden Plover was best seen a short ways north of the sales office.
