This may well have been one of the Little Gulls seen by Jim Dawe off Tawas point last week. It was his posting that prompted me to scrutinize the gulls there.

Jim, I saw a Little Gull in a flock of Bonaparte's Gulls and Caspian Terns yesterday. They were standing on a sand bar just along the towns of Tawas and East Tawas. The red legs and black hood were very easily seen with the spotting scope. Scott Sneed231-946-8488
