Birders,
The Bell's Vireo was found at Beaudette Park in Pontiac yesterday (April 26) by Chris Bommarito, and was still present from 8-8:30 a.m. today (April 27). Beaudette Park is on the north(ish) side of Orchard Lake Road about 1/2 mile east of Telegraph Road. The bird was first found today near a clump of birches, but then moved north through the vegetation about 50 yards away, with a group of Ruby-crowned Kinglets.

Every day, the hummingbird eats its own weight in food.
You may wonder how it weighs the food.
It doesn't. It just eats another hummingbird.

I am running out the door to chase a Bell's Vireo seen by Allen Chartier this morning and initial found I believe by "Chris B." (if if tried spelling it, I would butcher it). It is at Beaudette Park in Pontiac, Oakland County. This is on Orchard Lake Road off of Telegraph. Apparently the bird was occasionally singing and in vegetation along the river.
I am off.
