My husband and I returned from 10 weeks in the South and found the Tundra Swans migrating through.

They can be seen at Pinconning Park, along with lot of ducks. We could not identify the ducks as our good binocs were still packed. We did spot a Northern Pintail about a mile north.

Directions: M13 north from Bay City. Turn east on Pinconning Rd-the first light in Pinconning. (Marathon station on the corner). Go east 2 miles to the county park. If you come out of the park and turn north on Maloney Rd and go one mile, then turn east again on Codey-Estey Rd there is a big "pond" on the corner. There are swans there also and that is where we spotted the pintail.

(Alternative Directions: North on 75, take the Pinconning exit. Go east, crossing M13. Continue to the state park.)

I will be heading out today with my good binocs--I'll keep you posted!!
