White Pelican at Metropolitan Beach Metropark, Macomb County

Today,Sept 19, at 12:25.  The bird circled low two or
three times over the north marsh, then flew off in the
direction of Huron Point.

In the mud flats on the shoreline between the tennis
courts and the "day sail" area were 2-4 Semipalmated
Pplovers, 2-3 Least Sandpipers and one Dunlin.  No
sign of the Snowy Egrets.
