A birding foursome, Jim Lesser, Robert Epstein, Scott Jennex and I,
ventured over to Point Edward, Ontario, to see what might be coming
down Lake Huron on northerly winds. The answer was not much. We
arrived at 8:05 and stayed to 10:15. The bird that saved the morning
for us was an adult Parasitic Jaeger that appeared at 9:25 am, moving
from east to west until it approached the Michigan shoreline at which
point it moved northward, eventually out of sight up the Michigan
shoreline.

Blake Mann from Wallaceburg, Ontario was also present and saw the
jaeger and further reported on Ontbirds that he saw a juvenile
Sabine's Gull at Point Edwards around 10:50 am that entered Michigan
waters and moved north as well.
