[For some reason, this didn't go out to all BBC listers or mich-listers. Sorry for the testy 2nd post, computers
are a real pain....]

Hi

My father & I located a SAGE THRASHER, by looking out my back kitchen
 window,about 12:45pm today (Oct 30,2007).

It was located on top of a metal fencepost, in the neighbors yard to
my west, to which it would drop down to ground...around some
brush..."Sage" (or probably knapweed),before popping up on post again.

I was on the cell to Chuck Nelson, when the bird lited upon one of my
blue spruces, then flew south, but we think it may still be around.

Ilive at 4560 Bacon School Rd, in Royalton Twp,(St Joe),Berrien Co.
This is 1/2 mile south of Miners Rd,1/2mile north of Marquette Woods Rd. I
have a rnach house and don't mow my yard (I want cougars, west nile,
 etc)

Birders are welcome at reasonable hours.Plesae don't block my garage
 door.

THe bird was actually in the neighbors horse patsure,to which we DON"T
have permission. There is an ELECTRIC WIRE/FENCE around to keep horses
in ...so obviously DON'T TOUCH IT!

The spruces are my property line. Beware that the renters next door
keep pitbulls, most of time tied up.

The bird was last seen about 12;30pm,Oct 30.

Good Luck,

Jon Wuepper
