Surf Scoters at LEMP

Good morning,

Calvin Brennan reported to me the presence of 6 Surf Scoters at Lake Erie Metropark this morning.

They  were originally seen with a raft of Coots off from the field area south of the Wave Pool. They likely could have been seen from the north end of Cove Point Picnic Area.  They were about 1/4 mile off shore.

They may still be presentl. They flew around a bit.
