Birders-

An ADULT Black-legged Kittiwake was spotted around 1:15 this afternoon
during the Waterbird Count (thanks Erik). The bird actually flew
around the point and landed on the beach for a couple moments before
lifting off and flying to the southeast.

Also of note was a single sighting of a distant jaeger this morning.

Some of the recent arrivals here at Whitefish Point have included
Common Redpolls and numerous Northern Shrikes.

For more details about these sightings and what's being seen on a
daily basis, I encourage you to visit the Waterbird and Sightings
Blog. Visit www.wpbo.org and click on the link halfway down the page.

Good Birding!
