Oct 4 Cave Swallow, Whitefish Pt.

My humble apologies for not posting this sooner, but I was camping and had no access to my computer until now. On Oct 4 at about 5 pm, two companions and I saw a CAVE SWALLOW along the beach between the point and the lighthouse at Whitefish Pt.? It was flying with 2 Tree swallows and passed by us 3 times in about 5 minutes. We spent 2 1/2 more days at the point and never saw any sign of the bird again. I will send details to the MBRC. Other notable birds at Whitefish this weekend were at least 3 Harris's sparrows at the gift shop feeders and 1, possible 2 Parasitic jaegers at the tip between 5 and 6 pm on Oct 6.
