Bohemian Waxwngs, Huron Co.

Myles Willard and i had a flock of approximately 70 Bohemian Waxwings  
in Huron County today, November 28th.  The birds were in the mostly  
residential stretch of Lake Huron shoreline on Lighthouse Road west  
of Lighthouse Park near the tip of the Thumb.

We had previously looked for them today  without success on Loosemore  
Road, also in Huron County.  That location frequently hosts a few  
Bohemian Waxwings in winter.  The berry crop is excellent there now  
but strangely no waxwings.  We dipped on the previously seen  
Townsend's Solitaire at that location.  We did see two Pine Grosbeaks  
there.
