Sabine's Gull, Alger Co., 11.23.2007

A juvenile Sabine's Gull was briefly visible in Munising Bay this morning.  It was just off of Sand Point in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.  This site can be reached by driving northeast out of Munising on H58 for about a mile.  Then turn left onto Sand Point Rd. for 2 miles and park in the lot at the board walk.  The bird was flying just off of the point of sand to the north.  Scott
