Black-legged Kittiwake, Manistee Co. Harlequin Duck, Benzie Co.

This morning at 8:20 am a juv. Black-legged Kittiwake flew north past the First St. Pier in Manistee with a group of adult and juvenile Bonaparte's Gulls.  Other birds at the pier included a late pipit, Horned Grebe and the usual thousands of Long-tailed Ducks including one flock of 1,500.

Doug Cook and Carl Freeman had a female Harlequin Duck at the Elberta Pier in Benzie County at 11:00am.
