This morning from 8:30 to at about 9:45 I had at least 2 adult Little Gulls just offshore from the First St. Pier in Manistee. At 8:30 one appeared and remained in the area foraging south of the pier near some orange buoys marking fishing nets. At about 915 it appeared to fly south and then at 9:30 I had 2 adults together just west of the pier.

Also present were 2 Horned Grebes, 1 Common Loon, 2,000+ Long-tailed Ducks, 600 Common Mergansers, 200 Red-breasted Mergansers, and about 30 Bonaparte's Gulls.

First St. Pier is about 1 mile west of US-31. Follow First St. (second light south of the drawbridge) west and park in the lot at the end near the beach.
