Jaeger Fest - Hampton Twp, Bay County

Myles Willard and Glenn Peterson spent two hours at the end of the spit at Finn Rd. Park, Hampton Twp, Bay County this afternoon, November 14th and were treated to two Parasitic Jaegers and one Long-tailed Jaeger in a total of six fly-bys.  Individuals flew sometimes almost between them and the land as they harassed gulls around the area of the spit and then flew back out toward the Containment Disposal Facility (CDF) and then back again.  (Documentation will be forwarded.)
 
For those not familiar with Finn Rd Park, take M-25 three miles east of Pine St in Essexville (McDonald’s on the corner) and turn left (north) and follow Finn Rd to the Saginaw Bay.  There is a paved sidewalk along the channel leading out to the bay.
