Black-legged Kittiwake - Arenac County

The highlight, among others on Nov 12th, included an immature Black-legged Kittiwake at Northport Marina, Arenac County.  It was working a shallow, 'inner tidal pond' with 500+ Bonaparte's Gulls.  Northport Marina is just north of AuGres on US-23, toward Tawas.  There is a public access to the bay that you can drive right up to.  Thanks to Myles for picking it out amongst the concentrated feeding frenzy of Boneys that were wading/swimming in the shallow water!  
 
Other highlights included a Red-throated Loon feeding at the AuSable River mouth with a Common Loon and a flock of ten Red Crossbills and five Evening Grosbeaks at Lumberman's Monument.  Four Fox Sparrows were also found at Lumberman's Monument.  The rest of the highlights can be viewed at http://www.saginawbaybirding.org.
