Surf Scoter Hillsdale Co 11-9

Late in the day on Friday, Robert Epstein and I found a female type Surf  
Scoter on Round Lake in western Hillsdale County. The Scoter was visible from  
the DNR boat launch on Cole Rd. This is north of the town of Reading and  about 
a mile west of M-49.
 
We also saw a previously reported Snow Goose in Ingham County at the MSU  
College Ponds on College Rd south of Jolly. The white morph goose was in the  
second pond south of Jolly on the west side of the road.
