Birders-

Lake-watchers downstate be alert.  A juvenile BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE
passed by Whitefish Point this morning.  This represents the third
kittiwake this fall (second juvenile).

The lingering PRAIRIE WARBLER was last seen on the 4th of November.

The feeders at the giftshop is where all the action is.  At least one
HOARY REDPOLL has been seen in addition to COMMON REDPOLLS, PINE
SISKINS, PINE GROSBEAKS, EVENING GROSBEAKS, WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW, and
a CHIPPING SPARROW.  A NORTHERN CARDINAL has also been seen this week.

A GLAUCOUS GULL was found and photographed at the Whitefish Point
Harbor yesterday evening.
