Birders: After leaving the Tawas Point this morning at 1000 I had a flock of 30 Whimbrel and 1 Western Willet on a sand spit about 25 feet offshore in Tawas City. They could be seen from Highway 23 just 50 yards south of the junction of Hwy. 55. Kirk Zufelt
