Chuck-wills-widow again - Berrien (June 18)

Hello,

I won't make a habit of posting every day, but just to let folks know late last night, June 18 (before 12am), I heard the CHUCK-WILLS-WIDOW again off True Road. The song was so clear and distinct!

Birders have emailed asking how long the CHUCK-WILLS-WIDOW has been heard into the season. This is its 3rd calander year. MBRC treats them as three seperate records. In 2005, the LRD was 3 July and 2006 it was 13 July. So if folks need it as a year bird, you might keep those dates in mind.

I've actually been trying for Whip-poor-will(s) at same location, which I need as year bird. For some reason, this year they are absent, except for a few reports in May.

I goofed on the LRD for Black Rail: was actually 24 May , not 18 May.
