Cattle Egret Contines - Bay County

The north end of State Rd in Bangor Twp seems to have become a reliable location for this species.  Take I-75 to Wilder Rd and go east to just past Walmart.  Turn left (north) on State Rd to its end.  Park and walk in a southeasterly direction on the rail trail and look in the mowed field to the north.  I observed a single Cattle Egret in this location yesterday, June 9th.  I was concerned, prior to biking past this location, that the grassy field would become too overgrown.  As we approached it, a man was on a tractor, mowing the huge field.  I should have tipped him but didn't have my wallet . . .
