Birds at the Kalamazoo Nature Center

The 100 acre prairie that was planted a few years ago yielded some  
interesting results on 6/2. Best was the 16 Dickcissels so lots of great looks.  Also 
present were a couple of Henslow's Sparrows and a couple of Sedge Wrens.  And I 
was able to find a Bobolink nest.
 
The nature center is located in Kalamazoo County on the north side of  
Kalamazoo just east of US 131 (use the D Ave. exit and follow it east to  
Westnedge). The prairie is just south of the main entrance on Westnedge  Ave.
