South County Gulls

Greetings,

While birding in SW Berrien County this morning, I made a stop at the Forest Lawn "Gull Preserve." Among the many Herring and Ring-billed Gulls I found an adult Iceland (Kumlein's) Gull, 2 Glaucous Gulls (1 adult and 1 first winter) and 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls (1 adult and 1 3rd winter). I also had a brief look at a 1st winter Glaucous/Herring hybrid (aka "Nelson's Gull" it seems...) 

A short time later I located another 3rd winter Lesser Black-backed Gull with the gull flock on the ice of the middle lagoon at the Three Oaks Wastewater Ponds.
