Purple Sandpiper, Macomb Co. (still)

Reg Baker and I went for the Purple Sandpiper this morning.  Like others 
before us (including Joanna Pease as early as 7:xx and through 10:30 or 
so), we did not find the bird.  Before we left the DNR area, though, 
Wayne Fisher called to say he'd found it halfway out to the tip on the 
south side.  More cell phone calls brought others back to see the bird.

Wayne found the Purple Sandpiper at 11:00.  When Reg and I left at 12:00, 
a dozen birders were watching the bird near the tip.
