Golden Eagle--Iosco County

While walking Tuttle Marsh in Iosco County (west of Oscoda) my husband and I watched a Golden Eagle hunting.  This was about 2:15 PM.  He spent a long time perched on deadfall and we tried to take pictures--alas, our battery was to low.  As we left there were others who had spotted him from the road.  This seemed to scare him away.  We last saw him scouting the area from the air.
