Iceland Gull in Port Huron

Birders,
Sorry for the additional post, but I was just reviewing my photos from this
morning and, in a couple of quickly taken photos where I thought I had just
Herring Gulls, is a very clear adult Iceland (Kumlein's) Gull. The bird was
sitting on the wooden railing of the platform near the two flag poles along
the St. Clair riverfront north of the Bluewater bridge. Do I get to count it
even if I only "found" it in my photo?
