Ottawa County - Holland CBC Highlights - Shrike and RT Loon

Some highlights from the Holland Count Circle CBC today:

Northern Shrike (juvenile/first winter) at Winstrom Preserve, seen well 
from the parking lot at Anchorage Marina Store, looking across Ottawa 
Beach Road. Take Ottawa Beach Road west to Anchorage Marina.

Red-throated Loon -- Seen in Lake Macatawa, from Macatawa Yacht Club. 
The Yacht club is on the south side of Lake Macatawa on South Shore 
Drive, just before Eldean Shipyard and The Piper restaurant.

Hooded Merganser Big Bay, near the shrike location.
