Northern Shrike

At the Muskegon Wastewater, we observed a Northern Shrike on the lines.  We
found the shrike on the power lines, on the airport road.  It was near the
end of the road, close the power plant.  There was also a brief sighting of
a short-eared owl flying over the fields near the airport.

Not much else was seen there except for the many shovelers, black duck,
mallard, some buffleheads and one green-winged teal.  Snow buntings can
still be seen along the center dike.
