No 3-toed, Alger Co., 1/1/2007

I have received a number of calls and e-mails from people who have not been 
able to relocate the Three-toed Woodpecker found in Alger County on the 
28th.  Please be aware that the road conditions are terrible for walking and 
driving. At least one birder has been stuck and required towing to get out 
of the ditch while others have found the road too much to even try to drive. 
  I will post if I am told that anyone has relocated the bird.  Happy New 
Year.   Scott
