Just to piggy-back onto Todd's note, there was no sign of WW Scotor or Snow Goose. County listers coming in from out of county may wish to know there were several other water birds including Mute & Tundra Swans, Hooded Mergs, Redhead, Am. Coot, Ruddy Duck, Ring-necked Duck, Pied-billed Grebe, C. Goldeneye and probably something else I missed. Tom Wheeker pointed out a Cackling Goose among the many Canada Geese.
When I left, I headed north on Dexter-Pinkney Rd. There is open water on either side of the road where Little Portage Lake and Portage Lake connect. There were a lot of ducks in this area and should be checked if something is missing from the other open areas.

The PACIFIC LOON was present this morning at Portage Lake in Washtenaw county. I left the lake at about 9:30 AM and the bird was visible from the Yacht club. Previously posted directions and location are accurate.
Thanks,
Todd
