Pere Marquette Park - Muskegon

A Muskegon County visit by John Hamel and I produced good birds on a beautiful day.  Warm temperatures melted some of the ice off the south break-wall enabling only a semi-hazardous hike out to the lighthouse.   Several Common and one Red-throated Loon, both Scaup, Common and RB Mergs, several Horned Grebes, 300+ Long-tailed Ducks, an immature Great Black-backed Gull, Bald Eagle, Merlin, and other minor actors served as entertainment.
