I am a birder from Oklahoma. I am bringing a group of 9
birders up to Ohio and Michigan from May 19-28th. We plan to stay in
Grayling Wed-23rd

and do the Kirtland's tour on Thursday morning. after
that we will drive up to Paradise and stay two nights, the 24th-25th, in
the UP.

several of the folks need such things as Sharp-tailed
and Spruce Grouse, Black-backed WP, Boreal and Saw Whet and Great Gray
Owls,

Black-billed Cuckoo, and Connecticut Warbler among other things.
There are some winter type birds such as Snow Bunting on some of their
wishlists

but I'm sure all that stuff would be long gone.

anyway, I would be grateful for any info on current
locations or best places to try for them. If anyone might be able to
join us for a little while

during this time to serve as a local guide, that would be
helpful, too. Please contact me directly so as not to clog up your list.

I have the newest Birder's Guide to Michigan which has
been very helpful in providing info on where we might visit to look for
things. we plan to

visit the Raco airfield area for grouse and the Trout
Lake area for the Conn and perhaps some boreal birds.

if I can be of assistance on info on birding Oklahoma or
surrounding states, please feel free to contact me.

                thanks for your help.
