American Avocet resighted at Muskegon Wastewater Saturday April 28 about 5pm

An American Avocet was feeding in the flooded field which is in the south of
Apple Ave (M-46) section of the Muskegon Wastewater. It was seen  Saturday
afternoon about 5 pm.

It was viewed with a scope from Swanson Rd south of Laketon. This is the low
spot where there is extensive shallow flooding every spring stretching east
from Swanson Rd. The avocet was far across the field on the eastern side of
the flooded section.
